The Tommy's charity is petitioning the government to alter the number of miscarriages a woman has to have before being offered any support.

Miscarriage is devastating – yet parents only qualify for medical investigations and care under the NHS after they’ve had 3 miscarriages in a row

This is unacceptable: we need care after every miscarriage. 

The petition is demanding that:

1. Support should be available after every miscarriage, not just after 3.

2. Mental health support should be provided where necessary.

3. An end to the postcode lottery: tests and treatments must be standardised across the UK.

4. Higher risk women must get better care from the start.

5. All miscarriages must be recorded, so we understand the scale of the problem.
